Lake Cochrane

Lake Cochrane is a lake located on the border between South Dakota and Minnesota. It is located in the northeastern part of South Dakota and is a part of the Big Sioux River watershed. The lake covers an area of 1035 acres and has a maximum depth of 18 feet. It is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and swimming. The lake is surrounded by summer cabins and small communities. The South Dakota side of the lake is managed by the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks while the Minnesota side is managed by the Lincoln County Park board.
